Introduction
ASCODET-COUNCIL FOR SOFTWARE EDUCATION AND SKILL TRAINING Authority as defined Skills development Education is the process of identifying your skill gaps, and developing and honing these skills. It is important because your skills determine your ability to execute your plans with success.
Imagine a carpenter trying to build a house. He has the raw materials but lacks good wood working tools. He has, however, a flimsy hammer and a small screwdriver. Without the right tools like a hand saw, he can’t turn these raw materials into house building pieces.
It’s the same with goal achievement. In goal achievement, your skills are your tools. The house is your goal. Just as you need the right tools to build a house, you need the right skills to build your goal. Without the right skills, you will only frustrate yourself, waste your time, and spend a lot of time dealing with rudimentary issues caused by the lack of knowledge or lack of skills, as opposed to progressing in your goal. While difficulty and struggle is part and parcel of any goal pursuit, without the right skills, you find yourself struggling more than necessary. Worse still, this struggle is unconstructive and doesn’t help you move forward.

ASCODET-COUNCIL FOR SOFTWARE EDUCATION AND SKILL TRAINING Authority Vocational Education Council offers Vocational / Skill Training courses under Skill for Education and Employability for Youth India (SEE for Youth India), established under article.29 & 30(1) Constitution of India and Incorporated Under the legislation of Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

Following applicants are eligible to apply
Training Institutes set up by Companies/ Proprietorship
Any educational/ training institute fulfilling any of the following criteria:
Institutes owned/ promoted by Companies/ Proprietorship.
Institutes managed/ run by Companies/ Proprietorship.
Company/ Firm/ Society/ Trust.
Any of the above fulfilling any of the following criteria:
An organization providing training under Apprentices Act, 1961 for last one year from the date of submission of the application in their own or rented premises.
An organization registered in India, conducting business in the domain of skill development & training, having Permanent Income Tax Account Number (PAN) and Service Tax Registration Number and audited accounts of statements at least for last one year.

Fees Structure:
1. VTP/STP/STI
Application fee: Rs.5000 /- to be submitted along with the completed application form.
Affiliation fee: Rs.15, 000/- for single Skill Section or Rs.25, 000/ for Skill Section
after review by the ASCODET- COUNCIL FOR SOFTWARE EDUCATION AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AUTHORITY and acceptance of Application.
The certificate will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
Institute can run all certificate/diploma course form selected skill section.
2. SKILL SCHOOL
Application fee: Rs.5000 /- to be submitted along with the completed application form.
Affiliation fee: Rs.25,000/- for single Skill Section or Rs.35,000/ for Skill Section
after review by the ASCODET- COUNCIL FOR SOFTWARE EDUCATION AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AUTHORITY and acceptance of Application.
The certificate will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
Institute can run all certificate/diploma/advanced diploma course form selected skill section.
3. COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Application fee: Rs.5000 /- to be submitted along with the completed application form.
Affiliation fee: Rs.45,000/- for single Skill Section or Rs.55,000/ for Skill Section
after review by the ASCODET- COUNCIL FOR SOFTWARE EDUCATION AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AUTHORITY and acceptance of Application.
The certificate will be valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
Institute can run all certificate/diploma/advanced diploma course form selected skill section.
Process of Affiliation
All accredited Training Centers are deemed for the grant of affiliation. Once a Training Center is accredited for certain job roles, a Training Center, in order to seek affiliation certificate from the ASCODET- COUNCIL FOR SOFTWARE EDUCATION AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AUTHORITY, shall have the provision of Submit to Online Affiliation Application Form Link below:

Affiliation Request would be deemed as completed ufokr following conditions:
Affiliation is granted on the basis of job roles. Therefore, a Training Center has to apply for affiliation only for the accredited job roles.
The Training Center shall pay an affiliation fee for each job role. Training Center is advised to apply for affiliation as soon as it gets accredited; however, it is provided a maximum of 6-month period to seek affiliation. In cases where six months have elapsed since the accreditation date of an unaffiliated Training Center, it would require to re-accredit itself before applying for affiliation.
The online affiliation request is forwarded to the concerned accreditation board, which reviews the request containing the accreditation report of all job roles as submitted by the Inspection Agency and the affiliation fee payment confirmation. Post review, the ASCODET- COUNCIL FOR SOFTWARE EDUCATION AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING AUTHORITY, shall award the Affiliation Certificate to the concerned Training Center.
Validity of Affiliation
The validity of affiliation of a Training Center is for a year from the date of affiliation. The Training Center has to apply for the renewal of affiliation at least three months in advance of the affiliation expiry date. The request for renewal of affiliation has to be sent only after renewal of accreditation, as only the Accredited Centers are eligible for affiliation. In case a Training Center gets de-accredited for any reason, its affiliation shall also be no longer valid. In such cases, the concerned Training Center may seek affiliation only after getting re-accredited for the specific job roles.
About Centre Accreditation
Centre Accreditation is a quality assurance process for evaluation of the required parameters of the Training Centres. It is of key importance to ensure that the trainees are provided quality training, thereby creating the requirement to have a well-defined validation process of the Training Centres, creating the need of accreditation of Centres. Accreditation focuses on learning and self-development, and encourages the Training Centres to pursue continual excellence.
Accreditation Standards
The Accreditation Standards inspected are related to the operations and services offered by the Training Centers to its trainees. These standards are a set of practices and concepts, as laid down by the SSCs pertaining to each job role, that provide guidance to the Training Centers on all relevant aspects of skilling.

There are TWO types of Center Registration BUT center has to follow Both types. First center has to register ONLINE with requirement and then By filling HARD COPY OF AFFILIATION FORM with required documents and photographs.
